In this conclusion to the book of Nehemiah, Pastor Josh McPherson teaches from Nehemiah 13 about the danger of spiritual drift and the importance of finishing well. Although Nehemiah rebuilt Jerusalem’s walls and led the people through remarkable reform, compromise quickly returned when constant care and courageous leadership disappeared. The book ends with Nehemiah pleading, “Remember me with favor, my God”—a whispered prayer that foreshadows the better Reformer.
