We see Grace City Church's home as a re-envisioned example of how a church thinks about reaching it's city. A place where art, business, community, and entrepreneurial creativity come together to shape culture for Jesus.
OUR LONG-TERM DREAM
OUR IMMEDIATE GOAL
HOW IT WORKS
> Mission Advance is a two-year resource initiative made up of a one-time cash gift and two year pledges.
> On Commitment Day,November 22nd, we will gather as a church family to bring our cash-gifts and 2-year pledge for funding Mission Advance.
> All of these gifts should be over and above normal tithes and offerings to GCC'S mission-critical general operations.
> This first goal will not get us a building, but will rather put us in position to build... paying off land, building infrastructure, and hiring an architect to design the facility.
> If we hit our immediate goal, our next hope is to have a second resource initiative in 2017 to raise the remaining funds to begin construction.
> In this timeline, with all goals hit, we would startbuilding in 2 years, move in in 3, and have it paid off in 5. If we give beyond our goal, this timeline can be collapsed, and the time for move-in to our new facility moved up substantially.
OUR "GO" NUMBER
The exciting reality is that we're closer than we think. With $2.3M cash-on-hand, we could begin construction tomorrow. With this we will be able to secure the construction loan, begin building immediately, AND set aside 18-24 months of debt service to draw from once we move in. This will allow us to gradually increase our facilities budget over time, insure we can afford the building upon completion, and enable us to simultaneously pay off the building quicker.
THE NEED IS PRESSING. THE VISION IS CLEAR. THE MISSION IS COMPELLING.
"For my wife and I, the most exciting thing we have experienced is being a part of Grace City Church and its mission to build a permanent home. At a time when my generation is thinking about retirement, Ruth and I look forward to seeing more people come to know Jesus."
